ACSOR is a full-service market and opinion research firm. As such, it provides both qualitative and quantitative research capabilities and expertise, as well as experienced analytical abilities through it's relationships with D3 Systems and BBSS TNS. ACSOR services range from data collection and processing of nationwide, stratified random samples to in-depth qualitative program evaluations. ACSOR has worked on social, political and economic studies, health system evaluations, population enumerations, audience measurement studies and consumer and retail research, among others. Focus groups, in-depth interviews and listening panels are part of ACSOR's expertise.

The central office houses a focus group room and includes experienced Afghan moderators, transcriptionists, translators and interpreters on staff. ACSOR moderators have experience and backgrounds in a variety of fields including, media, healthcare/medicine, telecommunications and sensitive public opinion issues.

ACSOR maintains a central office in Kabul and regional offices throughout Afghanistan (Mazar, Kandahar, and Jalalabad) and uses a decentralized field operations management system. Quality control is provided by traveling teams from the central office which assure standards are maintained and reinforced. Data entry, processing and cleaning services are fully computerized on a secure network. These services are provided in the central office and coordinated with the quality control teams.

The nature of Afghani culture requires gender and ethnic matching of interviewer teams to respondents. To meet this need ACSOR maintains a 50% female workforce and a mix of ethnicites across the country. Interviewer teams are embedded in their localities, improving their safety and effectiveness in conducting interviews.
